Miami Air International, Inc., a Florida corporation with its headquarters at Miami International Airport, pled guilty and was sentenced yesterday in connection with the illegal storage and disposal of hazardous oxygen generators and personal breathing equipment that had been removed from commercial aircraft operated by MAII, contrary to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, in violation of Title 42, United States Code, Section 6928(d)(2)(A) and Title 18, United States Code, Section 2. Immediately following the guilty plea, MAII was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to pay a $125,000 criminal fine.
