On November 12, 2011, the Ohio EPA and representatives of other government agencies, responded to a release of manure from the property of Brennco, Inc. into a tributary of the Auglaize River. The release allegedly occurred during the application of between 55,000 and 70,000 gallons of manure generated from a hog barn. Brennco Inc. to pay $7,500 fine and $4,700 restitution.
