Violation Description: 

Patrick Brady, who had cerebral palsy, alleged that Walmart violated the Americans with Disabilitities Act when it reassigned him from the pharmacy to taks such as garbage collection. Walmart filed an appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, which affired the verdict. The court initially award Brady $2.5 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages but the later was later reduced to $300,000.
